Thirteen (13) senior high school students of Jose C. Payumo Jr. Memorial High School (JCPJMHS) completed their ten-day work immersion at Agricultural Training Institute – Central Luzon (ATI-CL), Dinalupihan, Bataan.
The students were exposed to different activities of ATI-CL especially in the farm site wherein most of the students experienced the basics of land preparation and planting different varieties of vegetables such us lettuce, eggplant and corn.
Some students were also exposed to the different office operations (admin tasks) to enhance their organization and management skills.
The students also underwent an orientation on e-Extension programs especially e-Learning, an online program where students, extension workers, and farmers can access for online agricultural courses. As a result, some students received certificates for successfully finishing the courses.
Capping off their last day was a simple graduation ceremony on July 19, 2019 where the students shared their experiences and received certificates of recognition.
This was the fifth batch of JCPJMHS students that conducted their work immersion at ATI-CL. (KESBallesteros)
