SAN MATEO, Isabela. The Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center 02 is encouraging farmers, agricultural extension workers, students and advocates of organic agriculture in the Province of Isabela to enroll in the free training program on Organic Agriculture Production NC II (OAP NCII).
Early this year, the ATI-RTC 02 training program on organic agriculture production was officially registered under the Unified TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) Program Registration and Accreditation System (UTPRAS) of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA).
The OAP NCII covers competencies such as produce organic vegetables, produce organic fertilizers, produce organic concoctions and extracts, raise organic chicken, raise organic hog, and raise organic small ruminants.
After the 232 hours of training, the participants will undergo an assessment to evaluate their acquired knowledge, skills and competencies. Participants will receive the National Certificate II after passing the assessment.
Interested individuals who are at least 18 years old can enroll at the ATI-RTC 02 San Mateo Center, Malasin, San Mateo, Isabela. Requirements include birth certificate, barangay clearance, Form 137/138 if high school graduate or ALS certificate, Transcript of Records or certificate of grades for college graduates or students, three pieces passport size ID picture, three pieces 1 x 1 ID picture (wearing collared shirt, without nametag and on white background), one long brown envelope and 1 long white folder.
The program is a partnership with the TESDA Isabela Provincial Office.
