SAN MATEO, Isabela. A general staff meeting of the Agricultural Training Institute in Region 02 immediately held on the first day of office for 2019. This was purposely to discuss the accomplishment, best practices and innovations, and challenges in the implementation of programs in 2018 that can be addressed in the 2019 operations.
Ms. Imelda Guillermo, OIC-Center Director encouraged each one to participate actively in the discussions since accomplishment will be presented during the national year-end review. To facilitate the review of the 2018 accomplishment in through the OPMES, the Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Unit furnished an electronic copy to each section for review and editing of data.
Meanwhile, Ms. Guillermo announced the directives of Director Aton to conduct one-day free seminar, which is open to all interested individuals. Financial literacy is also encouraged to be conducted or incorporated in the conduct of trainings.
To follow the organizational structure of the Center as stated in the quality manual, movement of staff was done according to their positions. Staff handling programs will still carry the said program.
For 2019 operations, each section presented its work and financial plan. Presentation includes the incoming celebration of the ATI 32nd anniversary, which will be celebrated at the regional level for the first time. Complementation is encouraged in the conduct of all activities. This has been the strength of the Center in conducting activities.
The meeting was held for two days on January 3-4, 2019 at San Mateo Center.
