An excellent facilitation skills is important especially for Agricultural Extension Workers (AEWs). Considering that in extension delivery, we often deal with adult learners, AEWs should be well aware of how to handle them efficiently. Consequently, AgRiDOCs launched four affiliated Farmers' Field School Sites in Rice Production last October 2, 2018. These four sites are located in San Felipe, Tinongcop, New Lambunao and Dumadalig in Tantangan, South Cotabato. The aim of these affiliated-FFS is to develop and strengthen the facilitation skills of the AgRiDOC participants.

Thirty farmers per site will attend the FFS classes every Wednesday morning of the week to be facilitated by AgRiDOC participants being assisted by staff of OMAG-Tantangan. Each site will be establishing their own Participatory Techno-Demo (PTD) on Varietal Trial with RCM recommendation as its fertilizer management. They will be capacitated on the A to Z of rice production plus other special topics like mushroom production, small ruminant production and edible landscaping, among others.
