ORANI, Bataan- The collective efforts of the ATI-RTC XII in enhancing the access to agri-fishery knowledge products and services have produced a positive and meaningful result as manifested in the recently concluded IS Achiever’s Awards 2019 held here last December 3, 2019.
The ATI-RTC XII has won three (3) IS Awards, to wit: 2nd Place Highest Number of School-on-the Air Graduates, 2nd Place Best Social Media Presence and 2nd Place Most Updated ATI Center Website.
According to the guidelines set by Information Services Division, the Highest Number of School-on-the Air Graduates Award is conferred to the Top 3 centers with the highest number of graduates in their School-on-the-Air program for 2019 to celebrate the strategies of each centers in facilitating the SOA activities in the Region.
Numerically, ATI-RTC XII has Produced 1,615 School-on-the Air graduates from January to October 2019. The actual demonstration on artificial insemination is one of the strategies and good practices of ATI-RTC XII.
Meanwhile, the ATI-RTC XII is also proud to bag the 2nd place as Best Social Media Presence from January to October 2019 with a total reached of 1,476,189. This award celebrates the milestone of the center in reaching a large number of audience through the different social media sites- Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
The third award received by ATI-RTC XII is the 2nd Place Most Updated ATI Center Website. The award was granted to ATI-RTC XII as the center consistently maintains the website from January to November 2019 with an average of 10 articles per month.
Former ISS Chief now Assistant Center Director Jessie V. Beldia, PhD received the three awards accompanied by Information Officer II Eduardo Suyamin Jr.
The IS Achiever’s Award recognizes the efforts and best practices of the regional training centers in enhancing the stakeholder’s access to information on agriculture and fisheries sector.
