TANTANGAN, South Cotabato- Twenty six (26) Agriculture Extension Workers (AEWs) from Region 12 graduated from the Training of Trainers on Climate Resilient Farm Business School held at ATI-RTC XII ECN Hall from March 2-11, 2020.
The participants finished a 10-day program wherein they learned topics from different modules that will enhance their necessary knowledge, skills and attitudes to facilitate a season-long Climate Resilient Smart Farm Business School (CRSFBS).
The Climate Resilient Farm Business School not only aims to help farmers on the tricks and trade in enhancing knowledge of farmers but to help them adapt their farming methods to the ever changing climate.
Juliet S. Daut, an AEW graduate of the TOT on CRSFBS from Tacurong City, shared how helpful this CRSFBS to the farmers back in their municipality.
“Makakatulong ang mga topics na natutunan ko sa pagconduct namin ng CRSFBS at matrain ang aming mga farmers. Maituturo rin namin ang pagiging Agriprenuer sa kanila. (The topics will really help in our conduct [of CRSFBS]. We can also now help train farmers so we can also call them Agriprenuers in their area.” Daut said.)
