ATI RTC-XII conducts Regional Consultative Meeting, Planning Workshop for 4-H, RBO in ARMM

Pagadian City- 4-H Regional Officers and Rural Based Organizations Coordinators of ARMM gathered on Friday, March 8, 2019 at Mardale Hotel, Pagadian City to review, assess, evaluate and formulate plans and program.
The workshop started with the presentation of participants. It was filled with fun and excitement as they presented themselves thru associating their names with the fruits and vegetables that symbolize their personalities.
Subsequently, Center Director Adbul I. Daya-an gave his welcome and inspirational message. He stressed out the major role of the RBOs in the development of the agricultural sector. He ended his message by encouraging them to be result-driven. “Nandito tayo because we want to serve. With that, gusto natin makita ang resulta. What is the use of these trainings and activities kung walang resulta”, said Center Director Daya-an.
Moreover, apart from the evaluation and assessment of the programs and projects conducted last year, the participants were given time to present and share their locally initiated activities and best practices.
On the afternoon, Ms. Shiela Jean L. Fetalino, 4-H/RBO Alternate Focal of ARMM, presented the 2019 4H/RBO provincial, regional and national plans and programs in ARMM.
Additionally, breakout session was conducted. Each participants were grouped accordingly and discussed and shared innovative ideas for the 2019 plans and programs.
4-H Regional President Moh Shanizee A. Sarabi presented the output from the breakout session. The highlight of his presentation is the conduct of 16th Regional Summer Youth Camp to be held on April 15-16, 2019 at ATI-RTC XII in San Felipe, Tantangan, South Cotabato.
The said Regional Consultative Meeting and Planning Workshop was actively participated by regional presidents of Rural Improvement Club (RIC), Mannalon, Mag-uuma, Magbabaul, Magsasaka ng Pilipinas (P4MP), Farm Home Extensionist Association of the Philippines (FHEXAP), Magsasakang Siyentista (MS), Japan Agricultural Exchange Council (JAEC), Regional 4-H Club Officers and Farm Youth Development Program Provincial Coordinators. ATI-RTC IX Center Director Alicia Rose Nebreja was also present.
This workshop aims to strengthen the Rural Based Organizations of ARMM for more unified and collective efforts, (OCD/JLA)
