Planning, Target Setting with LOVE

TANTANGAN, SOUTH COTABATO - The Agricultural Training Institute – Regional Training Center XII conducted its 2nd Monthly Meeting last February 10, 2020 with the theme: Delivering Excellent Extension Services with LOVE. The activity is to review accomplishment for January and plan for extension activities for February. Section Chiefs presented updates and ways forward of programs under each section.
Planning Officer Engr. Teofilo T. Jumawan, Jr presented the ATI's 2020 Policy Directions. With this, Center Director Abdul I. Daya-an reminded all focal persons and project officers to ensure that extension services and other activities to be offered to clienteles must be anchored to the New Thinking and Eight Paradigms in Agriculture of Secretary William D. Dar.
Moreover, it was also an opportune time for CD Daya-an to thank every staff for the efforts exerted during the conduct of the ATI's 33rd Anniversary.
In the celebration of the Heart’s Month and to fill the meeting with fun and love, the HVCDP led by focal person Ms Mercedita G. Aglibot initiated the giving away of red roses to ATI 12 ladies, recognizing the love they put in delivering extension services. A friendly quiz bee was also held to test the knowledge of staff on information related to high value crops.
Furthermore, the center unveils the Book Cover of its Learning Site for Agriculture (LSA) and School for Practical Agriculture (SPA) Directory 2019. The book will hopefully be released in the first quarter of this year. The said directory will be a ready guide to our partners and clients for future engagements and linkages.
To end the fun-filled day, Assistant Center Director Jessie V. Beldia, Ph.D. encouraged every staff to enjoy their work. "Just enjoy your work so that hindi siya maging mabigat at mapapadali mo yung trabaho mo kung gustong-gusto mo ito", he said in his closing message.
