ATI XI conducts mid-year assessment, staff development

Tagging of targets for 2nd semester of CY 2019

Davao City- To determine the effectiveness and efficiency in the implementation of the training programs and extension activities for the 1st semester of 2019 and to strengthen the capability of the staff, the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center XI conducted a two-day Mid-year Assessment and Staff Development on July 18-19, 2019 at The Ritz Hotel Garden Oases, Davao City. This would put things in proper perspective as well.

The activity was spearheaded by the Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Unit (PMEU), which aimed to enable the staff to have a concrete plan and resolutions on the target activities for the previous and upcoming semester, and to gain insights on managing stress.

Mr. Felson Jay V. Mahumot, Development Management Officer I, presented the physical accomplishments versus the targets of different programs. On the other hand, Mr. Jerry C. Carpentero, Planning Officer II and Budget Officer designate, reported the Center’s financial performance.

The staff also crafted catch-up plans on the trainings that were not yet conducted due to some valid reasons, and identified target activities and tagging for the 2nd semester.

After the assessment, Ms. Melissa Marie “Cookie” Bautista, Ed.D delivered her topic on "Stress Management: Building a Better Tomorrow". She discussed the causes and effects of “stress” at home and workplace, and identified various coping mechanisms and management practices to achieve better work-life balance.

Center Director Dante G. Esguerra acknowledged the untiring efforts of the staff in attaining the goals and fulfilling the mandates of the Institute, and hopes for their usual support in the future endeavors.

Despite the pressing schedule, all ATI XI staff were able to participate in the activity.
