SOA team set to validate its farmer-students in the area

A new course on School on-the-Air on Goat Production was launched last February 27, 2019 and will end on May 30, 2019. It is aired over Radio Station RGMA’s DXGM-Super Radyo 1125 Khz, Shrine Hills, Matina, Davao City from 4:00am-4:30am, Monday to Saturday.

To ensure that the farmer-students are qualified to join the graduation rite, the SOA team will conduct monitoring in the respective areas to validate if the students have complied all the necessary requirements. The team, together with the local government unit (LGU), will check their notebooks and three (3) exam papers, Further, the farmers will show their existing backyard project on goat production for those who are vying for the Best SOA Farmer Award. Moreover, this is also an opportune time for the farmer-students to meet and greet and discuss among themselves the technology learned and experiences gained as SOA learners.

The itinerary of the SOA Monitoring Team is as follows: May 3- Malalag, Sulop, Padada, Davao del Sur; May 7- Carmen, Dujali, Davao del Norte; May 8- Asuncion, Davao del Norte; May 9- Panabo, Davao del Norte; May 10- Governor Generoso, Banaybanay, Davao Oriental; May 14- Pantukan, Compostela Valley; May 15- Montevista, Nabunturan, Compostela Valley; May 16- Island Garden City of Samal, Davao del Norte; May 17- Davao City proper; May 21- Calinan, Davao City; May 22- Hagonoy, Davao del Sur.

There are 552 farmer-students expected to join the mass graduation on May 30, 2019, at Felis Resort Complex, Matina, Davao City.
