School On-the-Air on Goat Production launched

School On-the-Air (SOA) in Davao region is back with the course on Goat Production launched earlier today, February 27, 2019, over DXGM Super Radyo 1125 Khz to keep the farmers updated with the latest technologies on goat raising.

The launching activity was spearheaded by the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center XI (ATI-RTC) Information Services Section (ISS) headed by Ms. Olivia D. Gatus, Information Officer III and Ms. Rhoda E. Austria, Information Officer II/ Regional SOA Coordinator, along with Ms. Assel P. Madanguit, Information Officer II, and Ms. Ma. Cristin Rosan T. Besario, Media Production Specialist II.

During the launching, the Team explained the enrolment process, course content, and the monitoring schedules, among others.

Five hundred enrolees were allocated regionwide. The SOA course will run for three months, aired from 4:00 AM - 4:30AM, Monday to Saturday, in coordination with the City Veterinarian Offices and Municipal Agriculture Offices in the region.

Mr. Francisco Endaya is the regular farmcaster designated in the station who will serve as the lead anchor and subject matter specialist of the said SOA program.

The course content would cover the following modules: Introduction, Breeds to raise, Management, Feeding, and Health Management.
