Research Grant: Call for Proposal for the Farmers' Contact Center

Calling all interested Filipino researchers from the government, non-government, state colleges and universities and/or private sector.  The Agricultural Training Institute (ATI) is now accepting research proposals for possible funding support on the following program area:

e- Extension Program for Agriculture and Fisheries

ATI established the Farmers' Contact Center in 2009 as an alternative mode to provide farm and business advisory services by maximizing the popular modes of communication among the Filipinos -- call, text, online fora and social media. FCC serves as one of the alternative delivery channels of the Philippine Department of Agriculture through the e-Extension Program for Agriculture and Fisheries.

Currently, FCC is housed at the premise of ATI in Diliman, Quezon City and being promoted nationwide through the ATI network of training centers and partner agencies.

To determine how the services benefited the targeted clientele, there is a need for a SATISFACTION SURVEY among the audience reached by the FCC. The survey shall aim at measuring the client perceptions of how well the FCC delivers its services, in terms of promptness, responsiveness, understanding the callers’ concerns, among others. More importantly, it should measure the extent of how the FCC has benefitted the majority of its intended audience and identify the critical issues and concerns that the FCC needs to address.

Hence, this call for proposal.
